Emma's Apartment - Seagrass & Gold
Clever chap, Baron Haussmann. Tasked with remodelling central Paris in the mid-nineteenth century, he used zinc to clad the roofs in order to speed up the building process. Ever since, Paris has been defined by its shimmering metallic canopy.
Discussing this subject around the dinner table at our friend Emma's typical Parisian apartment - with its courtyard and rooftop views - we conceived the perfect way to pay tribute to one of our favourite European cities.
