FOX & CUBS SEEDS
Taking them back to their Yorkshire roots, Mark and Keith have compiled this collection of seeds featuring their classic Moordale design. The selection of 10 varieties includes some of their favourite wild flowers, that can be found on the moors and dales.
FOX & CUBS (Pilosella aurantiaca) So-called due to the appearance of the open flowers (the fox) alongside the flower buds (the cubs). This vigorous perennial has lovely, deep-orange flowers held in clusters on slender stems that emerge from a rosette of hairy foliage.
CULTIVATION: Sowing time for wildflowers is all year round with best results sowing either March to early May, or from August to September and thinning established seedlings to some 9–12 inches asunder.
