Mini Moderns is a range of interiors products for kids and kidults, designed and produced by London based design and branding agency, Absolute Zero Degrees.

Absolute Zero Degrees are a London based design and branding agency, whose solutions for clients often include bespoke pattern design as a strong element of the brand identity. Formerly a graphics and textile print designer for Red or Dead, co-founder Keith Stephenson was able to utilise his skills to best effect when teaming up with Mark Hampshire, an experienced brand strategist.

Their ‘proof of principal’ was to create and manage their own brand, Mini Moderns, a print driven collection of interior products including wallpaper and textiles for kids (and kidults!).

The initial wallpaper collection was snapped up by Heal’s and the brand goes from strength to strength, selling both on line and via select stockists internationally.

Operating a strictly ‘Made in the UK’ policy to the collection has helped to keep their carbon footprint to a minimum and supports local businesses. As the collection is produced in factories known to them – it also means they can be confident that all Mini Moderns products come from sweatshop free environments.

The print designs are themselves at once retro, and modern, with influences ranging from textile designs of the 1950’s to vintage toys and games. UK travel is also something that greatly influences their work.
